MenB Vaccination Programme (Students and Young People)

We have received updated guidance regarding the MenB vaccination programme for older students.

General Practice has not been commissioned to deliver this programme.

The vaccination will instead be provided through a nationally commissioned community pharmacy service. NHS England has advised that:

Eligible patients (including Year 13 students and university students under 25) will be contacted directly
Invitations will be sent via the NHS App, text message, or letter
Patients should wait to be contacted before trying to book

Appointments will be available to book from 13 July 2026 via the NHS website:

We are therefore unable to offer the MenB vaccine at the GP surgery for this programme.

If you wish to access the vaccine sooner, it may be available privately through travel clinics or pharmacies.
